You are probably Scared , and that is normal. No matter how old you are finding out you are pregnant is shocking. Your body is going through changes and your mind is racing trying to figure out what you are going to do and how you are going to handle being pregnant.
The first thing you Have to do is go to the doctor. Not your regular doctor but an OBGYN , they will be your doctor for the rest of your pregnancy and deliver your baby. One of the reasons you have to go to the doctor first is that there can be risks and complications. The sooner you visit a OB the better the chance of you and your baby being helathy.
Going to the doctor alone can make it even harder , so think about telling your parents , a friend , or the father and ask them to go with you. ( we will talk about telling your paretns later) To make it a little less unpredictable here is what most obgyns will do on your first visit.
Give you a Pregnancy Test with urine or blood
They will caculate your due date
Blood work that will test for STDs and other possible problems
A pelvic exam or pap smear
They will talk to you about your pregnancy , how it is going and your plans
Prescribe you Pre-natal vitamins
schedule your next appointment
Over the next 40 weeks you will go to the doctor once a month and in the last month of your pregnancy you will go once a week. It is very important that you have an obgyn and visit him when you are supposed to.

No matter what anyone says this is your choice. No one not your parents not your boyfriend NO one can make you do anything you dont want to do. And no matter what you have options and you have people and place who can help you (you just have to look).

you have time before you have to decide and you dont want to make a decision that your going to regret later.You need to make a choice ou can live with.Because no matter what you have made a baby and he/she will be here in 9 months.

There are thousands of families out there that are praying to have a baby who can't. There is a very long waiting list for adopting infants. There simply arn't enough for all the families who want them in our country. Why abort a baby when there is a mother out there who would give her life for and take care of your baby just as if she would have given birth to the baby.
In my opinion Adoption is the best option if you feel like you wouldnt be able to raise your child.

Abortion seems like the easiest thing. Its a quick fix to a big problem. But its not a quick fix it is a serious thing that has long lasting consiquences. Phycological and physical consiquences.Before you decide to have an abortion research it. It is not the easy soultion people make it seem to be. And most women regret their abortions.

They have many resources to help you make the decison that is best for you and your baby and will be there for you through out it.They can give you information that will be very valuable. And inform you of the consiquences of what you decide to do.
